Melissa Fitzgibbon

Melissa FitzGibbon is an experienced athletic trainer currently serving as the Head Athletic Trainer at Mt. Carmel High School within the Poway Unified School District since September 2022. With a background in diverse athletic environments, Melissa has worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Woodward Camps, managing injuries in action sports and providing care for both campers and staff. Previous roles include Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at East Stroudsburg University, where responsibilities included working with women's volleyball and acrobatics, and positions at various gyms and schools providing coaching and athletic training services. Melissa holds a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from San Diego State University.
