Meg Yothment has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Meg started their career as a Press Intern in the United States Senate, where they supported the Press Secretary by drafting press releases and corresponding with constituents and media coordinators.

After that, Meg worked at See3 Communications, a digital strategy consulting agency for nonprofits. Meg initially joined as a Communications Associate through a part-time internship program, where they helped implement content marketing campaigns for clients on social media, email, and blogging platforms. Meg was later invited to stay on as an independent contractor to help launch the first-ever benchmark nonprofit video survey in partnership with YouTube and Edelman.

Meg then joined Brickfish, a Web 2.0 social platform for B2C enterprise brands, as a Content Marketing Manager. Meg was the first marketer to join the company after it was purchased, prior to its rebrand and acquisition.

Following that, Meg co-founded an events company called Deck'd Out in Indianapolis. They hosted social events for young professionals to support local nonprofit charities and provided DJ services for nonprofit and private events.

Meg then worked as a Marketing Manager at Outside Source, an IoT product and design agency. In this role, Meg was responsible for implementing Storybrand messaging and inbound marketing for clients in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and technology.

Meg later joined Powderkeg as a Content Manager, where they served as a founding team member and helped pivot the company from an in-person events company to a community software company. Meg also held the role of Customer Success Manager, managing value delivery, product feedback, onboarding, customer support, and training.

Currently, Meg is a Board Member of the Indianapolis Symphonic Band.

Meg Yothment received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Political Science from Loyola University Chicago, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Meg has obtained certifications in Product-Led Growth Fundamentals from ProductLed in October 2022, the ADVISA Emerging Leader Series from ADVISA in May 2022, and a HubSpot Certification (specific dates not provided).
