Iqbal Hussain

Iqbal Hussain has a diverse and extensive work experience in the sales and business development field. Iqbal started their career at General Electric (GE) in 1984 as an Application Engineer at General Electric Trading Co. Iqbal then went on to work as a Project Sales Engineer at GE Fuji JV for nearly a decade. In 1995, they became a Sales Manager for Power Equipment at GE Fuji JV, a role they held until 2000. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as an Account Manager in the Oil & Gas division of GE Industrial Solutions. In 2004, they transitioned to the role of Regional Channel Manager for the Middle East and Africa region at GE C&I. Iqbal then became the Sales Director for the MEA region at GE Industrial Solutions from 2011 to 2013. Iqbal later joined GE Energy Connections as a Key Account Director for Oil & Gas in 2013. Most recently, in 2018, they became the Regional Sales Director for MEA Sales & Business Development at Powell. Overall, Iqbal Hussain has a wealth of experience in sales and business development, particularly in the oil & gas industry.

Iqbal Hussain completed their education with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Govt SV Polytechnic Institute in Bhopal, India in 1977. Iqbal went on to earn a Bachelor's degree (BE Hons) in Electrical Engineering (Power) from Government Engineering College in Jabalpur, India from 1977 to 1980. Later, in 2013, they obtained an MBA in Technology Management from Chifley Business School in Australia.
