Robert O. Gurman

Robert O. Gurman has extensive experience in the energy sector, having worked in various roles since 2010. Robert O. began their career in 2010 as the Chief Financial Officer of JEMB Astoria Energy Holdings, a 2-phase +1,100 MW combined cycle, gas-fired generating station in Queens, NY. In 2012, they became the Chief Financial Officer of Pocono Manor Investors. In 2013, they were appointed as a Trustee of the Utility Debt Securitization Authority, Long Island Power Authority by NY State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, to oversee securitization of up to $3 BN of LIPA bonds. Robert O. was also a Co-Founder and Investment Committee - Independent Member of International Infrastructure Finance Company/Mariner Capital, and a Energy Sector Faculty of Standard & Poor's Global Market Intelligence. In 2016, they joined NYSERDA (New York State Energy & Research Authority) as a Senior Consultant. Robert O. then moved to Proenergy Consulting LLC in 2017 as a Managing Consultant. In 2021, they became the Chief Financial Officer of Green Island EV Co., an early-stage Electric Vehicle (EV) OEM, and Managing Director of Electrada. Currently, they are the Managing Director of Power Edison.

Robert O. Gurman completed their education with a Master's degree in International Economics from The Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Prior to this, they obtained two Bachelor's degrees from Union College.
