Samar Hatoum

Samar Dham-Hatoum, Ph.D., PMP, is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Power Industry Experts since January 2022, leading a women-owned firm dedicated to diversifying the power industry through innovative engineering and project management services. Previously, Samar served as Manager/Senior Project Manager at Asplundh Engineering Services from July 2019 to December 2021, overseeing transmission engineering projects, and as Project Manager at Power Delivery Solutions LLC from January 2015 to June 2019, managing complex transmission initiatives. Earlier career roles include General Manager and Deputy General Manager at Al Hikma Building Contracting in Dubai, where Samar was instrumental in transforming the company’s reputation and market position. Additional experience encompasses positions in educational technology, systems integration, and engineering across several organizations in the USA and UAE. Samar holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a Project Management certificate from Kaplan University.
