Karl Samuelsson

Director Research & Development at PowerCell Sweden

Karl Samuelsson has worked in the automotive industry since 2005. Karl began their career at Volvo Car Group as a Complexity Reduction Analyst and Project Manager. During their time in this role, they were powertrain responsible in the S/V 60 program at Volvo cars, which won the Wards 10 best engines award for the first time at VCC. In 2011, they were promoted to Director at Volvo Car Corporation Sweden. In 2016, they joined PowerCell Sweden AB as Director of Research & Development.

Karl Samuelsson obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology between 1992 and 1997. During 1995 and 1996, they completed an Erasmus exchange program at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, where they studied Energi och termodynamik.
