Alaina Megson

Alaina Megson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project engagement and community engagement within prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Team Leader for Project Engagement at Powerlink Queensland since August 2023, Alaina previously held the role of Community Engagement Manager at Brisbane Airport Corporation from May 2022 to July 2023. With a strong background in political advisory roles, Alaina worked as a Senior Advisor for Andrew Wallace MP in the Australian Government from August 2016 to August 2021 and as a Media and Electorate Officer for Andrew Powell MP in the Queensland Parliament from April 2009 to September 2016. Alaina's early career includes serving as an Electorate Officer for Hon Peter Slipper MP from March 2007 to April 2009. Alaina holds a degree in International Relations and Communications from the University of the Sunshine Coast and has furthered education through IAP2 training.
