Dr Hui-Min Tan

Dr. Hui-Min Tan is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical and electronic engineering, currently serving as a Senior Operations Engineer at Powerlink Queensland since February 2012. With a diverse background at Powerlink, roles have included Network Support Engineer and Portfolio Optimisation and Risk Engineer, encompassing various technical and business areas such as high voltage asset strategies, project management, and commissioning. Prior to this, Dr. Tan contributed to academia as a University Tutor and Research Engineer at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Adelaide, demonstrating expertise in teaching and advanced software development for power systems. Dr. Tan earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Adelaide, solidifying a comprehensive foundation for a successful career in engineering.
