Benjamin Williams

Benjamin Williams has over eight years of experience in electrical engineering, currently holding the position of Distributed Energy Resources Engineer at PowerNet since November 2014. In this role, Benjamin has been involved in engineering analysis of the electrical networks managed by PowerNet, also previously serving as an Electrical Engineer and Graduate Electrical Engineer. Benjamin began with PowerNet as an Undergraduate Electrical Engineer, contributing to the same analytical tasks. Earlier experience includes a stint as a Research Assistant at the University of Canterbury in late 2016. Benjamin earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury in 2016 and completed NCEA Levels 1, 2, and 3 at Verdon College from 2008 to 2011.
