Michelle Henderson has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Michelle is currently the Head of Marketing at PowerPlan, Inc., where they lead global corporate and product marketing, public relations, and communications. Prior to this, they worked as the Director Global Marketing & Communications at InVeris Training Solutions (formerly Meggitt Training Systems), where they coordinated the strategic management and execution of global branding, marketing, and communications. Michelle also has experience as the Director of Marketing at the University of West Florida, where they managed campaigns, marketing communications, and branding efforts. Michelle also worked at Cox Media as a Regional Director of Marketing, and at Pensacola News Journal as a Marketing Communications Manager. In these roles, they successfully led marketing teams, directed branding initiatives, and managed various marketing projects.

Michelle Henderson attended Louisiana State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Advertising. In addition to their degree, they have also achieved several certifications. In 2014, Michelle obtained the Online Marketing Certified Professional (OMCP) certification from Shaw Academy UK Limited. In 2015, they completed the Advanced Social Media Strategy Training and Certification, also from Shaw Academy UK Limited. The following year, in 2016, Michelle obtained the Certified eMarketer (CeM) certification from the eMarketing Association. Finally, in 2017, they acquired the Digital Marketing certification from the eMarketing Association.
