Mark Westgate

Mark Westgate is currently serving as the Chief Science Officer at PowerPollen since 2017. Prior to this, Mark was a professor at Iowa State University from 1998 to 2019, specializing in Crop Production and Physiology in the Agronomy Department. Mark has also held leadership positions such as President at the Crop Science Society of America and Director at the Center For Sustainable Rural Livelihoods. With a background in plant physiology and water relations research, Mark has a Ph.D. in Agronomy/Plant Physiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
