Isamu Ybarra

Isamu Ybarra is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and product innovation. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at PowerSchool since October 2020, Isamu focuses on developing advanced Generative AI solutions aimed at enhancing personalized education for over a billion children globally. Prior to this role, Isamu held various positions at Hoonuit, including Product & Engineering Tech Lead, where responsibilities included leading the development of top-tier K-12 data warehouse and analytics solutions, following Hoonuit's acquisition of Mizuni, Inc. In Mizuni, Isamu excelled as Director of Product Innovation, directing a team that created modern SaaS solutions for K-12 educators. Earlier career experiences include roles at Intel Corporation and a foundational education with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
