Pierre Poulain

Pierre Poulain has a diverse work experience in various industries. Pierre has recently been the President & CEO of Powertech Labs Inc. since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Vard Electro Canada Inc. as the Managing Director VEC & President VEUS from April 2020 to April 2022. Pierre also held the role of President at PurePower Enterprises Inc. from April 2014 to April 2022, where they focused on business development, strategy, operation, and technical consulting in the fields of Engineering and Life Sciences.

Pierre has also worked at Ultra Maritime as the VP Business Development & Marketing from November 2018 to April 2020, and as the Director Sales & Marketing from January 2018 to October 2018. Before that, they served as the Director Of Sales & Business Development at Fleetway Inc. from September 2014 to October 2017.

Earlier in their career, Pierre worked as a Customer Support Manager at MAN Energy Solutions from March 2012 to April 2014. Pierre also held various roles at Atlantic Cat, including Product Support Operations Manager from June 2010 to March 2012, and Technical Services Manager from July 2007 to June 2010. In these roles, they provided corporate leadership, managed technical support and warranty departments, and acted as a liaison with suppliers on product issues.

Pierre started their career at the Department of National Defence, where they worked as a Marine Engineer & Combat Systems Engineer (Navy) from June 1986 to June 2007.

Pierre Poulain completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering at Dalhousie University from 1997 to 2000. Pierre then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business at Saint Mary's University between 2004 and 2006. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1989, they obtained a degree in Marine Mechanical Engineering from Institut maritime du Québec, specializing in Marine Engineering.
