Michael George

Michael George has extensive experience in the mortgage industry. Michael is currently the Managing Director at PowerTPO, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Analytics Officer at Guaranty Home Mortgage Corporation from March 2021 to January 2022. From August 2020 to March 2021, they served as the Vice President of Wholesale Operations at First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation®.

Before joining First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation®, Michael held various roles at Franklin American Mortgage Company. From August 2017 to August 2020, they were the SVP of Wholesale Western Operations Manager, and from January 2008 to August 2020, they served as the VP of Wholesale Operations. Michael began their career at Deutsche Bank as a Branch Manager from May 2007 to January 2008. Prior to that, they worked as an Area Sales Manager/Branch Manager at Countrywide from May 1998 to May 2007.

Michael George attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
