Mat Goral

Mat Goral has worked in various roles since 2007. Mat began their career as a Computer Support Technician at CGI in 2007. In 2010, they completed an internship as an Energy Analyst at Transcontinental. That same year, they also interned at Oxfam-Québec in International Cooperation. In 2011, they interned at Vidéotron in the Department of Detail Engineering and at the Ministère des Relations internationales in the Mexico Commercial Trade Mission 2011. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Stantec au Québec and then as an Electrical Site Supervisor at Boralex Inc. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as an Electrical Commissioning Manager at Construction Santé Montréal. Most recently, they have been Co-Founder & COO at PowerTree since 2018.

Mat Goral has a diverse educational background. Mat obtained a Baccalaureate in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al in 2012, followed by a Specialized Graduate Diploma in Management from HEC Montr\u00e9al in 2014. In the same year, they also obtained a Certificate in Fire Alarm Systems with Non-Acoustic Signaling from Educational Program Innovations Center and a Certificate in Principles and Design of Lighting Systems from Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. In 2017, they completed a Specialized Graduate Program in Legal Affairs for Engineers from \u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications: LEED AP BD+C from Canada Green Building Council - CaGBC in 2016, Ing\u00e9nieur from Ordre des ing\u00e9nieurs du Qu\u00e9bec in 2015, and Open Water Diver from PADI in 2012.
