Joseph Armah

Joseph Armah, FRM has a diverse and extensive work experience. Joseph currently holds the position of Head of Product at Powertrust since February 2023. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of Armah Financial Services starting in January 2019. Joseph also worked as a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual from December 2018 onwards. Joseph held prominent roles at GE Capital, including Vice President of Commercial Strategy from November 2014 to November 2018. Joseph also worked as an Energy Investment Professional at GE Capital from May 2007 till November 2018. Before that, they gained valuable experience as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Barclays Investment Bank in 2006. Joseph started their career at Bridgewater Associates, where they served as a Senior Associate from July 1998 to June 2004.

Joseph Armah, FRM, holds an extensive education history. Joseph obtained their MBA degree in Finance, Strategy, and Organizational Behavior from the Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business in the years 2005-2007. Joseph later pursued a Certificate in Applied Data Science from Columbia Engineering in 2020. Prior to that, Joseph completed their undergraduate studies at Swarthmore College from 1994 to 1998, earning a double degree in Engineering and Mathematics (BS & BA). Joseph also holds an International Baccalaureate from UWC Atlantic College, where they studied from 1992 to 1994. Joseph's educational journey began with their completion of GCE O'Levels at Adisadel College, spanning from 1987-1992. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Applied Data Science from Emeritus and SIE, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 3 from FINRA.
