Serhii Derkach has been working in the gaming industry since 2012. From 2012 to 2017, they worked for Black Wing Foundation (BWF) as a Tech Artist, Senior Level Designer, Level Artist, and 3D Artist. During this time, they built a pipeline for the migration of content from UE3 to UE4, rebuilt levels in UE4, and prototyped maps. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Lead Level Designer for While True Games, where they organized and managed the work of 4 level designers and created a plan, blocked and detailed a 2x2 km map for a MMOFPS PC game. In 2021, they began working for tap4fun as a Technical Artist, where they are working on a SLG Strategy Game demo for Android and Unity, developing a pipeline, writing technical documentation, and mentoring. Serhii also began working for PowerZ in 2021 as a Lead Technical Artist.
Serhii Derkach obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from The National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine in 2016, following a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, which they obtained in 2015.
