Olivier Jerphagnon has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Olivier began as an Intern at Alcatel Submarine Networks in 1996, followed by an Internship at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in 1997. In 1998, they became a Graduate Researcher at UCSB. In 2000, they joined Calient Networks, where they held various roles including Network Consulting Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Product Manager, and Optical Engineer. In 2008, they became President and CEO of Monitoring Division Inc. (mdi), where they raised bridge funding and redirected the company's focus around a new professional service business model. In 2010, they became the Owner of The Green Frog from Silicon Valley. Finally, in 2013, they founded and became CEO of Agmonitor Inc., a Software-as-a-Service company that assists farms to increase crop yields while reducing water and energy inputs.
Olivier Jerphagnon obtained their French Baccalaureat from Saint Louis de Gonzague-Franklin in 1993, after which they attended Lycée Janson-de-Sailly from 1993 to 1995. Olivier then went on to Grenoble INP - UGA, where they earned their Diplome d'Ingenieur in Physics and Electrical Engineering in 1998. In 1999, they received their Master of Science in Photonics from UC Santa Barbara. Additionally, in 2013 they obtained the Machine Learning certificate from Coursera, and in 2014 they received The Data Scientist’s Toolbox certificate from Coursera Course Certificates.
