Martin À Porta

Martin À Porta is the current President and CEO of Pöyry Oyj, and has held this position since November of 2015. Prior to their current role, Porta served as the President and CEO of AFRY from November 2015 to October 2019.

Porta has over 25 years of experience in the engineering and consulting industry, having served in various leadership roles at companies such as Wüest Partner, Stantec, and UPM - The Biofore Company.

Under Porta's leadership, Pöyry has undergone a major turnaround, increasing its market value by more than threefold and reaching benchmark levels in employee engagement. Porta has also been instrumental in establishing a winning culture at Pöyry, with a focus on employee motivation and engagement.

Martin À Porta has a MSc in Engineering from ETH Zürich, a postgraduate diploma in advanced management from ESMT Berlin, and a degree in Finance, General from INSEAD. Martin also has an Advanced Management Program from Duke University, a General Management Course from Siemens leadership excellence, and a Management Course S3 from Siemens.
