Bernie Thompson

Bernie Thompson has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Bernie is currently the Founder and CTO of Plugable Technologies, a well-known brand specializing in USB, Bluetooth, and charging devices. Bernie co-founded PPC Ninja - Amazon PPC Tools and Services in 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President - Software Platforms at DisplayLink in 2008. In 2006, they founded Leancode. Bernie also worked at Microsoft from 2001 to 2006, where they held the role of Software Development Manager and conducted internal process improvement instruction. Bernie was the President of the Applix Linux Division at Applix, Inc. from 1999 to 2000. In 1998, they founded and sold Cosource.com, an early collaborative marketplace for open source projects. Bernie began their career as an Associate Programmer at IBM in 1994, working on the OS/2 Development Team.

Bernie Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Penn State University between 1989 and 1994.
