Brian Spears

Brian Spears is a seasoned medical professional currently serving as Principal Investigator of Phase 1 clinical research trials at PPD since December 2021. Previously, Brian held the position of Trauma Medical Director at Baylor Scott & White - Lakeway from 2015 to February 2023 and served as Emergency Medicine Medical Director at US Acute Care Solutions during the same timeframe. Brian earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine between 2006 and 2010 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2006.
