Daniel Cummins

Senior Scientist at PPD

Daniel Cummins is a Senior Scientist at PPD since June 2022, with a strong background in chemistry and research. Previously, Daniel served as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins Krieger School of Arts from December 2017 to January 2021 and as a Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Delaware from August 2012 to November 2017, where responsibilities included teaching lab sections for general and organic chemistry. Daniel also gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Szymczak Lab at the University of Michigan and as an Undergraduate Student Instructor for an introductory lab course. Additionally, Daniel worked as an Engineering Aid/Technician at U.S. Army TACOM LCMC, focusing on corrosion prevention research. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Michigan.
