Taku Gaius

Taku Gaius is a seasoned clinical research professional with extensive experience in clinical trial management, monitoring, and site management. Currently serving as a Principal Clinical Research Associate at PPD since June 2021, Taku has previously held the position of Senior Clinical Research Associate at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. from November 2016 to June 2021, where responsibilities included leading clinical studies, preparing regulatory documents, and ensuring compliance with safety reporting. Earlier roles include Clinical Research Associate I/II at STATKING Clinical Services, where Taku focused on site management and monitoring activities, as well as a Biology Teacher at Government Bilingua High School, where Taku taught high school biology. Taku holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biology from the University of Buea, obtained in 2008.
