Direct Support Professional at PPL First

Tai Walker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2013, Tai worked as a Sales Associate at Häagen-Dazs Shoppe Company, Inc. During this time, Tai gained experience in sales and customer service. In the same year, Tai also served as a Summer Camp Counselor at Fountain Baptist Church. This role involved providing support and guidance to campers during the summer months.

In 2016, Tai joined Morris-Union Jointure Commission as a Bus Attendant. This position required Tai to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers while traveling on the bus. Tai remained in this role until June 2019.

In 2020, Tai took on two different roles. Firstly, as a Direct Support Professional at Public Partnerships | PPL. This position involved providing assistance and support to individuals in need. Tai's second role in 2020 was as a Program Aide/ Technician at The Arc of Essex County. Here, Tai facilitated programs and provided technical support as needed.

Tai Walker attended Millburn High School from 2011 to 2015 and obtained a high school diploma. Later, from 2022 to 2024, Tai Walker attended William Paterson University of New Jersey, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Leadership & Professional Studies. Tai also pursued minors in Psychology and Business Administration during this time. In terms of additional certifications, Tai obtained the Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross in March 2022, and the First Aid for Opioid Overdoses certification in March 2023, also from the American Red Cross.
