Matthias C. Brickel

Matthias draws from a wealth of international experience in financial markets, consulting, and entrepreneurship. He held different front office positions at a global investment bank, specialising in capital markets, and he worked in various leadership roles at international organisations. Most recently, Matthias was appointed to co-head the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Oxford Hub, leading social impact-driven projects with global reach. Matthias holds a master’s degree from Exeter College, University of Oxford. Prior to Oxford, he studied business administration, finance, and economics in Germany, the U.S., Mexico, and Argentina.
