Mahbubur Rahman

Mr. Rahman is a Clinical Biochemist and Quality Management Specialist, as well as an expert in laboratory standards, quality, laboratory accreditation, and implementation of ISO 15189. His areas of expertise include implementing the laboratory quality management System as well as the College of American Pathologists's laboratory accreditation program. Prior to joining Praava Health, Mr. Rahman served as a quality management specialist and founding head of the laboratory at Thyrocare Bangladesh Ltd., a sister concern of Thyrocare Technologies Ltd., the world's largest preventive care laboratory. At Thyrocare, which is also a CAP, ISO, and NABL Accredited Laboratory, Mr. Rahman established the laboratory quality,management system, led the CAP accreditation procedures, and trained a team of over 50 professionals on good laboratory practice.

Before joining Thyrocare, Mr. Rahman worked on the implementation of ISO 15189 and Proficiency Testing Scheme in the Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory at icddr,b, (International Centre for Diarrhoeal Diseases Research, Bangladesh) as a research officer and panel laboratory supervisor for 12 years. He was also named Best Employee. Mr. Rahman actively participates in social work and intends to continue focusing his career on the development of Quality Management Systems at diagnostic laboratories in Bangladesh.
