Jake Douglass

Jake Douglass is a seasoned music educator and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the music education field. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Classical Transcription Project, Jake contributes to enhancing access to classical music resources. As the Founder and CEO of Practicing Musician, Jake has successfully scaled the company nationally and developed innovative educational technologies and programs aimed at providing equitable music education. Additionally, Jake has shared insights on modern teaching practices through a column in In Tune Magazine and has held various instructional roles, fostering student growth and a passion for music. Jake's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Pitzer College and completion of an Executive Development Program at the UW Foster School of Business.
