Maurizio Mancini

Maurizio Mancini has an extensive work experience in the field of business agility and enterprise agile coaching. Maurizio started their career in 1993 at Invera as a QA Manager and Support and Deployment Manager. Maurizio then worked as a QA Manager at Optimal Robotics and Computer Horizons in 2002. In 2003, they became a Quality Assurance Team Lead at Compuware.

Maurizio's career took a shift in 2004 when they joined Radialpoint as a Director of QA, Agile Coach, and Transformation Agent. During their time at Radialpoint, they built and led a team of 40 QA Analysts and was responsible for the organization's transformation from Incremental and Iterative to Agile.

In 2012, Maurizio joined Yellow Pages Group / Groupe Pages Jaunes - Canada as a Director of QA, Enterprise Agile Coach, and Transformation Agent. Maurizio successfully built and led a team of over 100 QA Engineers and Analysts and played a vital role as an Agile sponsor, evangelist, and coach for the Agile deployment at YP.

From 2015 to 2021, Maurizio worked at Exempio Inc., where they held the position of Business Agility and Enterprise Agile Coach and Co-Founder. Exempio is a consulting firm and Atlassian Solution Partner that specializes in optimizing teams, business processes, and tool investment for organizations.

After leaving Exempio, they joined Cutter Consortium in 2015 as a Senior Consultant. Maurizio'sareas of expertise at Cutter Consortium included Agile Testing, Lean QA, deploying Agile at scale, Software Engineering Team Building, software engineering process improvement, and organizational transformation.

Most recently, Maurizio Mancini joined Avant Systems Group in 2021 as a Business Agility/Enterprise Agile Coach and Atlassian Coach. Maurizio worked in this role until at least April 2023.

In May 2023, Maurizio will start working at Praecipio, where they will assume the position of Business Agility/Enterprise Agile Coach and Atlassian Coach.

Maurizio Mancini has a diverse education history. Maurizio obtained a Masters degree in Science in Administration from Concordia University. Maurizio also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the same institution. Additionally, in 2011, they completed a course in Communication for Managers at CMC and received leadership training for managers from Dale Carnegie. In 2003, Maurizio completed a course on Capability Maturity Model at CMM, and in 2002, they received training in Effective Performance Management from HR Consultants. Maurizio also holds a DEC in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Dawson College.

In terms of certifications, Maurizio has received various certifications related to technology and project management. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Confluence Content Management and Email in Jira from Atlassian. In 2014, they became an Atlassian Solution Partner. Maurizio also holds certifications in Agile Development with JIRA Software, Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator, Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator, and Atlassian Pro Skills Badge: Advanced Jira Workflows. Maurizio further received the Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2020 and the Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) certification from QAI Global Institute in 2011.
