Andy Henderson

Andy Henderson is an accomplished professional in the field of automotive engineering and technology with substantial experience in academia and industry. Currently a lecturer at Clemson University, Henderson develops and delivers a new Introduction to Automotive Manufacturing course while also serving as the THINKER External Advisory Board Chair, overseeing a multidisciplinary graduate traineeship in digital manufacturing. As the owner of Hendtech LLC and an advisory board member for SC Career Kids, Henderson contributes to advancing education and industry practices. Previously, as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering & Data Science at Praemo, Henderson focused on leveraging digital technology to enhance industrial operations. With a diverse background at GE Digital and GE Power & Water, as well as engineering roles at Caterpillar Inc., Henderson has consistently driven innovation and efficiency in manufacturing processes. Andy Henderson holds a PhD in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
