Vijay Jayaraman

Vijay Jayaraman began their career as a Research Scientist at Gore Photonics in 1996. In 2001, they founded Praevium Research, Inc. and served as its CTO/Founder. Vijay also served as the company's CEO/President, functioning as the principal investigator on government and commercially funded research and development.

Vijay Jayaraman began their educational journey in 1980 when they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in 1985. Vijay then continued their studies at UC Santa Barbara, where they earned a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering in 2004.
