Ben Coombs

Ben Coombs is a seasoned professional in data science and software engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager at Pragmatic since July 2018, after holding positions as Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist. Prior to Pragmatic, Ben worked at the Centre for Process Innovation Limited from November 2012 to July 2018, where significant contributions included leading the ROBOLED project and developing an automated data pipeline that enhanced data analysis efficiency. Earlier experience includes research roles at Durham University, including a KTS Fellowship, and a postdoctoral role at the University of Heidelberg. Ben holds a Ph.D. and MChem (Hons) in Chemistry from Durham University and has published research on photophysical properties in notable scientific literature.
