Jaywant Desai

Jaywant Desai started their work experience at Rolta India Limited in 2005 as an Executive Process Engineering. Their responsibilities included developing and updating intelligent P&ID's using Smart Plant P&ID software. Jaywant also collected and verified input data for reports.

In 2008, Desai joined Praj Industries as a Chief Manager Process Engineering. Jaywant managed a team of 13 engineers and was responsible for process engineering and commissioning. Jaywant supported new technology development and execution, as well as performed process calculations such as material and energy balance for process plants. Desai also designed various equipment, such as kettles, tanks, and condensers.

Jaywant Desai completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology, KASABA BAWADA (DYPCET) from 2001 to 2005. Jaywant then pursued a PGD in Process Design Engineering from Suvidya Institute of Technology Mumbai in 2006 and 2007. Prior to that, they completed their 12th in Science from Y C College of Science Karad, Dist-Satara from 1999 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Jaywant Desai has obtained several certifications including Helicopter Underwater Escape Training from Naval Maritime Academy in August 2007, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting from The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. in February 2007, Personal Survival Techniques from The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. in January 2007, and Proficiency in Elementary First Aid from The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. in January 2007. Jaywant has also completed various online courses on subjects such as Conflict Resolution, Creativity, Decision Making, Delegating, Email Etiquette, Execution Excellence, Leadership Attitudes, Making Teams more Customer Oriented, Managing Your Career, and Problem Solving from CrossKnowledge.
