Shannon Spruiell is a dedicated glass artist and educator currently engaged in multiple roles within the glassblowing community. At the Museum of Glass, Shannon instructs veterans in glassblowing, emphasizing the therapeutic benefits of art in conjunction with the Warrior Transition Unit and the American Lake Veterans Administration. As a Glass Demonstrator at Chihuly Garden and Glass, Shannon shares expertise with guests through public speaking and demonstrations. Additionally, multiple instructor positions at Pratt Fine Arts Center and Schack Fine Art Center involve teaching glassblowing to various skill levels. Experience includes collaboration at Seattle Glassblowing Studio and Gallery, providing both group and personalized instruction. Prior roles at Glass Eye Studio and various service-oriented positions complement a strong foundation in fine arts education, including a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas Tech University and training at Pilchuck Glass School.
