Anthony Cocciolo

Dean Of The School Of Information at Pratt Institute-Main

Anthony Cocciolo is the Dean of the School of Information at Pratt Institute, a position held since August 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing academic and administrative operations, as well as conducting research and teaching in archives and digital preservation. Prior to this role, Anthony served as Interim Dean and held various faculty positions at the School of Information. At Teachers College, Columbia University, from May 2002 to August 2009, Anthony was the Head of Technology at the Gottesman Libraries, focusing on digital initiatives. Previous experience includes working as an Applications Developer at DATAGENIX and a Student Research Assistant at the University of California, Riverside. Anthony holds a Doctorate in Education and multiple degrees in Communication, Media, and Learning Technologies Design from Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside.
