Project Manager / System Engineer at Praxis Engineering

Bill Faucette has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bill began their career as a Software Engineer at Hadron in 1986 and worked there until 1988. In 1989, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Systems Engineer and Project Manager, where they remained until 2018. During their time at Booz Allen Hamilton, Bill also took on the role of Project Manager / System Engineer at Praxis Engineering starting in 2018. In 2010, they joined Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company as an EMT-B / Firefighter III. Prior to that, in 1982, they served as an EMT / Firefighter III at Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad. Additionally, in 2016, Bill worked as an Adjunct Professor at Frederick Community College.

Bill Faucette earned a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from the University of Maryland from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Va. Tech, where they attended from 1977 to 1981. Bill obtained their high school diploma from Patrick Henry High School from 1975 to 1977. Along with their formal education, Bill also holds additional certifications including ICAgile Foundation Certified, ITIL V3 Foundation Certified, CSEP (Certified Systems Engineering Professional), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Fire Officer II, Firefighter III, PMP (Project Management Professional), Rope Rescue II, and Trench Rescue II.
