Shawn Lee Kissinger

Shawn Kissinger is currently a Surgical Neurophysiologist Trainee at UConn Health Department of Surgery since August 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant in The Bell Lab at DePaul University from August 2021 to May 2024, and various roles as a Resident Advisor during the 2021-2023 academic years, overseeing a total of over 350 residents. Additionally, Shawn worked as an Animal Caregiver for Wag Labs Inc. from October 2021 to May 2024 and participated in the Summer 2023 BRAINterns program at Lenox Hill Neurosurgery. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Neuroscience from DePaul University and a Master of Science in Surgical Neurophysiology from the University of Connecticut, expected to be completed in May 2025.
