Clint Fincher has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Clint started their career at AMPEX Data Systems Corporation in 1993 as an Engineer. Here, they designed ASICs, FPGAs, and wrote code for embedded systems. Clint worked on various projects related to motor control, signal processing, and serial communications.
In 2001, Clint joined Synthesys Research as a Senior Engineer. Clint designed broadband boards and systems, created calibration algorithms, and co-designed firmware for the award-winning BERTScope CR. Synthesys Research was later acquired by Tektronix.
At Tektronix, Clint worked as a Senior Engineer from 2010 to 2011. Clint'sresponsibilities included designing, testing, and writing firmware for their products.
After leaving Tektronix, Clint joined HiQ Solar in 2011 as a Principal Engineer. Clint made significant contributions to the design and implementation of firmware, FPGA code, diagnostic software, and web interfaces for HiQ's inverters and communications gateways. Clint also developed algorithms for various functions related to power control and safety features.
In 2020, Clint joined Giga-tronics as a Systems Engineer, and later that year, they moved on to work as an FPGA/Firmware Engineer at Pre-Switch, Inc.
Clint Fincher attended Texas A&M University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
