Jeffrey Nonken

Jeffrey Nonken has over 30 years of experience in software and firmware engineering across various industries. Jeffrey has been a Firmware Engineer at Precision Flight Controls since 2008, where they develop, maintains, and updates firmware for aviation flight simulators. Prior to this, they were a Firmware Engineer at Lighting Science Group Corp., where they worked on LED-based commercial, industrial, architectural, and gaming lighting products. Jeffrey has also worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at Schulmerich Carillons, a Software Engineer at Moore Products Co., and a Software Engineer at Analect Instruments. Additionally, they were a Programmer at CA Electronics, Inc. and a Technician at Carta Associates. Throughout their career, they have focused on organizing existing and new code for simpler development, maintenance, and hardware portability while improving development practices and documentation.

In 1974 to 1975, Jeffrey Nonken attended North Dakota State University, where they pursued Computer Science but did not obtain a degree.
