Pooja Soman

Pooja Soman has over 13 years of work experience in the software development and engineering industry. Pooja began their career in 2007 as a Software Developer at Dristi Tech Pvt. Ltd., where they developed Easymeeting software modules using Delphi programming. In 2008, they moved to Geometric Solutions as a Software Developer. In 2010, they took on the role of Lecturer at MIT Group of Institutions, Kothrud, Pune. In 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at Powai Labs Private Limited, Iit Bombay. In 2015, they became a Software Developer in Test (SDET) at Quickheal technologies,India, where they developed a Jenkins automation framework using Python. In 2017, they became a Senior Technical Associate at Sears Holdings India, where they worked on SOX compliance and Audit compliance projects using Python, Flask framework and MongoDB. In 2018, they were promoted to Manager at Citi, where they were involved in the design and development of a Python framework. In 2019, they joined HSBC as a Consultant Specialist, where they were involved in a Reconciliation project using core Python, ML, Django and Angular. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer Python at PreciTaste.

Pooja Soman completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Amravati University between 2001 and 2005. Pooja then pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) in VLSI and Embedded System Design from Pune University between 2011 and 2013.
