Jose Fernando Valencia

Jose Fernando Valencia has a diverse work experience in various roles. Jose Fernando is the founder and CTO of Predictheon since October 2019. Previously, they worked as a Profesor investigador at Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali, where they were responsible for teaching and conducting research in areas such as biomedical signal processing and mathematical modeling. Prior to that, they served as an Asesor técnico at Quantium Medical S.L. from August 2011 to January 2018. Jose Fernando also worked as a scientific researcher at Hospital Clinic from June 2010 to January 2013.

Jose Fernando Valencia's education history includes obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, spanning from 2005 to 2010. Jose Fernando also earned a degree in Ingeniería Electrónica as an Especialista en Redes de Comunicación from the Universidad del Valle (CO) between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1995, they completed their Ingeniero Electricista degree in Ingeniería Eléctrica at the same institution.

In addition to their formal education, Jose Fernando Valencia has recently completed the Onshape Introduction to 2D Drawings Course offered by Onshape, a PTC Technology, in December 2022.
