Pree Walia

Pree Walia has a long and varied work experience. From 2003 to 2021, they have held various positions in the fields of law, business, media, politics, and technology. In 2003, they worked in the Law and Justice Unit of ABC News. In 2004, they were a Campaign Corps Selected Participant with EMILY's List. In 2005, they worked as a Regional Deputy Finance Director with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and as a Political Adviser, Director, and Fundraiser for Political Candidates. From 2009 to 2012, they held the role of Marketing and Business Development Director with Lunera and GTM; Business Development; Partnerships with Cloudbeam. In 2014, they were the Sponsorship & Partnership Lead with Women 2.0. In 2015, they joined the Board and Board of Advisors of MakerGirl. Finally, in 2021, they became an EIR with Startup San Diego.

Pree Walia holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in Strategic Management, a BA from Northwestern University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
