Anita began their career as an Integration Consultant at Cerner Corporation, where they worked on implementations and conversions of the Surginet product at various client sites. Anita then worked at UCSF Medical Center as an IT/Clinical Analyst, responsible for designing and building software applications and implementing them at surgical facilities.
After that, Anita joined Novant Health as an IT Clinical Systems Contract where they served as the Team Lead for the implementation of an Anesthesia documentation system. Anita was responsible for project planning, coordinating meetings, and software build, as well as supporting other clinical units.
Anita then had internships at Dell and Seton Family of Hospitals as an MBA Intern. At Dell, they gained valuable experience in a corporate setting, and at Seton Family of Hospitals, they had the opportunity to apply their MBA skills.
