Hari Simons

Hari Simons is the Product Design Lead at Prelude. Prior to that, they were the Product Design Manager at Checkr, Inc. from June 2018 to July 2020. Discover World is a platform for all things travel—before, during, and after a trip. Simons led product design for their mobile app.

Before that, Simons was the Director of User Experience at Discover World from July 2016 to May 2018. Simons led product design for their mobile app, which is the best and easiest way for travelers to capture and share their adventures.

Prior to their work at Discover World, Simons was the Director of Product & UX at Zenfolio, Inc from September 2010 to July 2016. There, Simons led a team of product managers and UX designers. They built an award-winning service for professional photographers to showcase and sell their work online. As a product designer, Simons researched, designed and shipped many web and mobile projects including their own blogging platform, video hosting, high-volume events system, responsive grid website layouts, contact list & email scheduler, music integration, iPhone and iPad apps.

Hari Simons has a Master of Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Computer Science from UC San Diego. Hari also has a certification from Cooper in Design Leadership.

Hari Simons reports to Will Laufer, CEO. Hari Simons works with Nicole Lederman - Founding Customer Success Manager, Enterprise & Strategic Accounts, Alexander Soto - Founder & CTO, and Julia Winn - Growth Marketing Lead.
