Sampada Upadhye

Sampada Upadhye has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Sampada is currently employed at Prelude Therapeutics as the Senior Director of Drug Product Development & Technical Operations. Prior to this, they held the position of Director in the same department at the company.

Before joining Prelude Therapeutics, Sampada worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions as a Study Director and Technology Platform Leader. In these roles, they had global technical leadership responsibilities in the Bioavailability Enhancement space and managed scientific staff. Sampada was responsible for planning and executing platform project portfolios for oral solids technology.

Sampada also worked at Colorcon, Inc as a Manager in the Product Development department. Their responsibilities included leading and managing projects related to product development.

Sampada has a strong educational background, with a PhD from The University of Mississippi and a Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Bombay College of Pharmacy.

Earlier in their career, they gained valuable experience as a Summer Intern at Pfizer, where they focused on solubility enhancement of poorly soluble drugs. Sampada also worked as a Research Scientist at Rubicon Research Pvt Ltd.

Sampada Upadhye pursued their M.Pharm.Sci degree in Pharmaceuticals at the University of Mumbai from 2000 to 2002. Sampada later furthered their education at the University of Mississippi-School of Pharmacy, where they obtained a PhD in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design from 2005 to 2010.
