John Houpt

John Houpt has extensive experience in the banking industry, with their most recent role being Chief Credit Officer at Premier Bank starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Deputy Chief Credit Officer at Premier Bank from 2022 to 2023. Before joining Premier Bank, John worked at Wells Fargo Bank as a Senior Vice President and Market Credit Leader from 2011 to 2022. John also served as a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager at Wells Fargo Bank from 2008 to 2010. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Vice President/Commercial Credit Portfolio Manager at National City Bank from 2002 to 2008 and worked as a Commercial Banker at Fifth Third Bank from 1996 to 2000.

John Houpt attended the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business from 1991 to 1996, where they studied Business Management and Real Estate. John later pursued an MBA in Corporate Financial Management and Real Estate at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 2000 to 2002.
