Monica Baioneta MSN, RN has extensive work experience in various healthcare settings. Monica began their career as an RN clinic coordinator at Archcare in 2009 and later served as an adult day care coordinator at Hebrew Home at Riverdale. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Senior Whole Health as a manager of clinical services, where they established the Care Management Department and supervised multiple programs. Monica then joined Centers Plan for Healthy Living as a clinical team manager, overseeing daily clinical operations and providing education to nursing staff.
In 2015, Monica joined NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital as an outpatient care manager, responsible for coordinating and managing the care of diverse patient populations. Monica then transitioned to Mount Sinai St. Luke's and Mount Sinai West, where they served as the director of the discharge command center. In this role, Monica provided administrative direction and collaborated with various stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and appeal denials.
In 2019, Monica joined NYC Health + Hospitals as the director of nursing, focusing on case management strategies and programs to improve quality of care and reduce costs. Currently, they hold the position of assistant vice president of NYC operations at Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc, where they continue to contribute to the healthcare field.
Monica Baioneta, MSN, RN obtained a Master's degree in Nursing Science and Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Prior to that, they attended Universidade Federal Fluminense from 1993 to 1996, where they studied Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. In addition to their education, Monica Baioneta holds certifications including Lean Bronze Certification from Mount Sinai Health System, PRI - Patient Review Instrument from the New York State Department of Health, and UAS - Uniform Assessment System, also from the New York State Department of Health.
