Aida Tannous

Aida Tannous, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in human resources and leadership roles. Aida currently serves as the VP of HR & Staff Development at PremierOne Credit Union. Aida is also the founder of leadtohappy, an organization focused on supporting and inspiring professionals through community and mentorship. Aida has launched a series of panels and live events to drive community engagement. Aida has also worked as a Lecturer for the SHRM Certification Prep Course at San Jose State University and as a Member at Chief. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at TransPak, where they led all aspects of talent acquisition, people operations, and HR support for a 2,800-employee organization. Aida's previous experience includes serving as the Head of Human Resources/HR Director at Shoe Palace, where they built the HR practice from scratch and supported the company's rapid growth. Aida began their career at A CLEAN WORLD CORP. as an Operations Director/Manager and Recruiter.

Aida Tannous, SHRM-SCP, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis on Finance from San Jose State University. Aida also holds a certification as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resources Management. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, one in May 2019 and another in June 2022.
