Steve Vaughn

Steve Vaughn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in transportation and public safety. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations at PrePass Safety Alliance since February 2014, Steve oversees the organization's liaison with federal and state agencies while managing field personnel and contributing to policies on truck safety and infrastructure. Previously, as Principal at SJV Consulting Inc from July 2008 to January 2018, Steve provided strategic guidance in transportation, public safety, and government relations. Steve's career with the California Highway Patrol spanned nearly 29 years, culminating in the role of Chief, where responsibilities included senior management, project management, and legislative liaison. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice from San José State University.
