Salih Chad Derya

Salih Chad Derya is a Senior Software Engineer at Preqin since March 2024, with a solid background in software development and technical leadership. Previously, Derya served as a Technical Lead at Perlego from February 2021 to March 2024, where significant enhancements were made to offline book pages using Next.js and TypeScript to improve SEO and performance. Derya founded Agile Import in January 2020, developing customs declaration software aimed at simplifying the customs declaration process for UK traders. Earlier experiences include roles as a Software Engineer at Metricell, where an interactive map for mobile network coverage was created, and at OnlineFuels, where flagship products for real-time fuel pricing were developed. Derya also held positions as an Intern Software Engineer at AND Digital and as a Bike Mechanic and Sales Assistant at Halfords. Derya earned a degree in Computer Science with an Artificial Intelligence Specialism from Brunel University of London, complemented by a year of industrial experience.
