Martin Boliek

Martin Boliek has a diverse work experience spanning from 1990 to the present. Martin currently works as a Technical Lead at Presence Product Group, LLC since September 2021. Prior to that, they operated their own consulting firm, Boliek Consulting LLC, from September 2020 to September 2021.

From 2017 to 2020, they worked in Private Consulting as an Engineering Director, focusing on technology development and IP strategy. During this time, they invented and patented a neighborhood CDN through a local mesh network, and played a crucial role in the company's advancement.

Martin also served as the Director of Engineering at Vieu Labs from 2013 to 2017. There, they led a team responsible for developing a video solution encompassing the capturing, editing, sharing, and management of consumer video. Martin oversaw the development of backend video processing systems, machine learning, and signal processing.

Prior to that, from 2011 to 2013, Martin worked as the Director of Engineering at Document Capture Technologies Inc., where they spearheaded the creation of a cloud-based document capture and processing system. Martin'swork culminated in the company receiving the CES Innovations 2014 Design and Engineering Award.

Martin's earlier experience includes positions at Ricoh Innovations, Inc. In 2008, they served as a Program Manager, conducting M&A studies and representing the organization at internal conferences. Before that, from 1990 to 2008, Martin served as a Research Manager and Program Manager. In this role, they led Ph.D. researchers in optimizing color image processes and developing progressive image and video compression technologies for various applications, such as geological images, medical images, and digital cinema.

Martin Boliek has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis. Martin also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business from the University of San Francisco School of Management. Furthermore, they have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Additionally, Martin has obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in May 2018.
